In the class we learn about the process of location, breast/ chestfeeding, and digestion. While lactation can usually be seen as the laboring parents struggle or success, my intention is for parents and community to share the experience and challenges of infant feeding.Parents will learn how labor decisions are connected to the production and maintenance of breast milk.You will receive information on pumping, breastmilk storage, ways to prevent common infections. We will cover common questions that will be asked by pediatrics upon baby's first visit. Lactation consultancy requires assessment of a client's lactation state in relation to babies ability to receive and digest milk. Each consultation will require latch assessment as well as personalized information on how to sustain breastfeeding. I will be with you every step of the way. We will do this together!
